Job Description

Lutheran Family and Children’s Services is seeking a full-time Finance Manager MoDCMP to join our Disaster Response team. The Finance Manager will develop, implement, and evaluate financial tracking/reporting systems in order to ensure accuracy of all management and provider agency financial activities associated with the Missouri Disaster Case Management Program (MoDCMP) This is a temporary position based on a contract and due to end by November 30, 2017. Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and coordinate management agency financial tracking system in conjunction with LFCS Finance Department, MoDCMP Director, and MoSEMa staff. • Design and execute comprehensive, on-going provider agency financial trainings. • Forge, foster, and maintain productive relationships among all MoDCMP constituents. • Ensure financial contract compliance.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. • Minimum 12 months direct work experience. Skills and Abilities • Knowledge of general accounting/bookkeeping principles and procedures, payroll tax and expensing, accounts payable and receivable processes. • Working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to produce accurate and timely financial reports • Excellent communication and public speaking skills. • Ability to work in a collaborative environment • Ability to value individual characteristics and demonstrate sensitivity in meeting clients’ needs. • Ability to collaborate successfully with groups who deliver services to clients with diverse cultural backgrounds. • Highly motivated and able to make independent programmatic decision. • Ability to thrive with minimal supervision.
