Job Description

counseling and community prevention services within the agency. DUTIES: Supervise a team of supervisors, direct care staff and interns. Assess, communicate, and coordinate training for staff and interns in order to meet the goals of the program and agency Provide oversight and manage the designated contracts, grants that pertain to service delivery areas, including monitoring, report writing, preparing for audits, participate in the writing of new grants, contracts and or renewals. Monitor budget for the designated programs, including the expenses and revenues generated. Participate in the Behavioral Health and Community Prevention Services Administration team as needed to provide support and guidance regarding programs. Direct outreach and marketing efforts when necessary regarding program services. Provide direct client services as needed.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience Master's in counseling,  social work or related field. Professional license (LPC, LCSW or LMFT). At least 2 years supervisory experience. Knowledge/Skills/Characteristics Established supervisory, clinical and case management practices. Computer programs and use. Code of ethics; legal processes and procedures; accreditation and licensure standards; counseling theories, prevention strategies and practices; mental health assessment and diagnosis; therapeutic models and interventions.  Effective presentation skills. Effective skills in written and verbal communication. Effective supervision skills. Time Management skills. Self-motivational and self-management skills. Ability to function on a team.
