Lutheran Family and Children’s Services is seeking a full-time Information Systems Support Specialist to join our IT team. The Information Systems Support Specialist will be responsible for providing reliable and courteous technical user support to help diagnose, resolve and track hardware, software, and network issues; will perform network administration duties in a Microsoft environment as well as Office 365 Cloud environment. This position will assist with hardware and software installation and upgrades of workstations, servers, and printers. The Information Systems Support Specialist will maintain accurate inventory of all workstations, printers, and other computer peripherals and maintenance of these items to ensure proper working condition
This position is full time working Monday thru Friday daytime hours.
As an Information Systems Support Specialist, you will:
• Execute the duties of a first level call center, supporting staff for all IT related issues utilizing an electronic ticketing system.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets.
• Assist the IT Manager in all levels of Network/System Administration
• Assist the IT Manager in all levels of Facilities Management.
• Assist the IT Manager in all planning/implementation of all IT/Facilities projects.
Qualifications:
Required Minimum Education/Experience
• Technical Degree, equivalent certifications or
• 4+ years of experience supporting complex networks with Microsoft Servers, Hyper-V, and Office 365 Hybrid environment.

Qualifications:
Required Minimum Education/Experience
• Technical Degree, equivalent certifications or

Knowledge/Skills/Characteristics
• Strong Server and Workstation diagnostic and troubleshooting skills including both hardware and operating system support.
• Advanced level of Network troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Highly motivated and able to make independent programmatic decision.
• Ability to work independently and thrive with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel less than 10%
