NO PHONE CALLS, PLEASE. This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri. DUTIES Provide effective counseling and case management to client population. Establish and maintain appropriate, current community networks and interactions, in cooperation with program supervisors and staff. Provide consultation and input to leadership for the program as requested. Professional enhancement. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education & Experience: CM I - Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Guidance Counseling or Drug & Alcohol Counseling.  License preferred. CM II - Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Guidance Counseling or Drug & Alcohol Counseling.  License preferred. Social Worker I Must possess BSW. LMSW or LCSW preferred. Social Worker II Must possess MSW. LMSW or LCSW preferred. PLEASE NOTE: A Masters Degree is required for this position. Two years experience with Child Welfare.  Must have an active driver's license. REQUIRED K/S/As: Established social work and case management practices. Time Management skills. Self-motivational and self-management skills. Ability to function on a team. Communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. - Meet with clients, families, providers and resources, coordinating home, community and office visits, per program requirements and practice standards - Assess and utilize professional therapeutic techniques with parents and children - Utilize an evidence based, family centered, prevention curricula helping families build essential protective factors and understand appropriate patterns of behavior and child development. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; climb up to 5 feet; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift up to 24 pounds and carry up to 24 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to access, enter, modify, and retrieve data on a personal computer. The employee is also required to read, write, and speak the English language.
